Mara Lefebvre’s visual art studio is in a ranch house with a red door on a dead end street in upstate New York. For the past 20 years, she has been creating small scale sculptures and assemblages at worktables overlooking her hillside garden. After she received her fine art degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, she explored living in rural Vermont, coastal California and in the desert of Mexico. Mara has exhibited her work in numerous shows in the Northeast, including the Munson Williams Art Museum, Opalka, the Arts Center Gallery, and the Saratoga Arts Center. Sh has been awarded artist residencies and grants.
