Some people sit and wait

For it to all go away.

They say it's all fake,

And that we are all ok.

 

But we the people know

That we are not safe,

And our rising fear,

Is still here.

 

Our lives are at risk,

But some people won’t take a hint

That our planet is dying

And we are all trying

 

To make a better world

For young ones to come, but

Some people sit and wait,

As their ignorance and hate

Kills the world.
